David Anderson was born and raised in Central Michigan with two brothers. He proudly served eight-years in the United States Air Force following his high school graduation where he became a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force's Airman Leadership School.
David worked his way through college at Federal-Mogul Corporation graduating Magna Cum Laude from Park University with a B.S. in Human Resources Management, a B.S. in Marketing, and an A.S. in Management. Prior to becoming a second generation Wealth Advisor at Hilliard Lyons, he managed caseloads for the State of Michigan's Unemployment Insurance Agency and Department of Human Services.
David holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. He furthered his education by completing The Wharton School of Business’ Wealth Planning Essentials Program. He is licensed by the state of Michigan for life, accident, and health insurance.
David was the 2017-2018 President of the Jackson Host Lions Club; he is the 2018-2019 11-B1 Region 2 Zone 2 Chairperson and 2018-2019 President of Saginaw Field and Stream Conservation Club. He is a member of Saginaw County’s Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network and a 2018 graduate of Leadership Saginaw County. David occasionally provides market commentary on WSGW radio’s Ticker Tip and Money in Your Pocket segments.
David and his wife Anna have five children. Their children are active in sports, which occupies most of their free time. When he is not busy with his family, David enjoys shooting guns competitively and hunting.
David serves clients in both the Jackson and Saginaw, Michigan offices.
